She was designed by the very talented Jhoanna Monte Aranez of One Red Robin. I used a very different colour combination to Jhoanna - believe it or not, my fabrics are very bright - they just don't look it in these photos! I often have trouble breaking away from the original colour combination I see a pattern made in, so this was a challenge I set for myself.
I found putting Miss Mushroom together rather tough - getting her already stuffed arms and legs to stay in the right positions while I sewed the 2 body pieces together drove me mad! I have a new found respect for Jhoanna and her softie making skills!

I love little Miss Mushroom. She looks great. The colors are beautiful. Thanks for the nice comment about my whirleygiggles quilt.
She is SO cute! Please open a shop Renee-I need to buy presents for friends with babies and I know they'd love them!
Thanks Lorraine - I'm flattered! As I make most of my toys from patterns designed by others, I cannot sell them. However, some of the designers sell their own work on etsy - and I dare say, theirs are made a whole lot better than mine!

She's so cute!! And I love your kangaroos as well!! Makes me want to make some as well!! Was that a homespun pattern (the roos)? Hope you're getting lots of rain... we are on the third day of rain here... we are actually unable to get off the property now! Oh well!!
She is simply delightful! Did you see the Toy Society article in Patchwork & Stitching - I thought of when I read it and wondered whether your toy found a good home. I'm planning on making a smaller version of Winding Ways so it won't be as many pieces - but still a few. Happy Stitching...Ann :)
She's very cute!!! Is she staying with you, or will you be giving her away?
Great job! They both are on my to do list. Love the colours. Did you know homespun has a flickr group? You should think about adding yours :) xox
